Celebrate Milk Day, commemorating the first delivery of milk in bottles on Jan. 11, 1878. From ages 4 to 8, children need more than two glasses of milk a day, and from 9 to 18 years of age, they need more than four glasses of milk daily. PTAC Meeting
The Alexandria PTA Council, as part of its regular monthly meeting, will sponsor a program on Adolescent Risky Behaviors on Wednesday, Jan. 13, at Mount Vernon Community School. Eight-grade Orientation
All Alexandria City Public Schools rising ninth-grade students are invited to attend the annual Orientation Program at T.C. Williams High School Minnie Howard Campus at 7 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 25, in the auditorium. Students will receive course selection and technology information and meet guidance counselors, school administrators, teachers and staff.
