Three Recent Bank Robberies Linked

The Washington Field Office of the FBI has linked a Dec. 14, Arlington Bank Robbery and a Dec. 20, Alexandria Bank Robbery, and Alexandria police are looking into the possibility that the same suspect may have committed yesterday’s PNC Bank robbery.

Alexandria Police are investigating a bank robbery that occurred this afternoon at the Bank of America, located at 600 North Washington Street. Around 2:49 P.M., a man entered the bank, implied a weapon and demanded money. The teller relinquished an undisclosed amount of cash and the suspect fled the area. No one was injured.
