Alexandria City Council Amends Potomac Yard Master Plan

On Saturday, the Alexandria City Council amended the Potomac Yard master plan to allow for additional surface parking, increased the allowable heights for buildings in some areas, transferred density among undeveloped blocks and accepted an up-front payment of $2 million, which will be used to help fund an Environmental Impact Study for a possible Metro station.
