The phone lines for the ACPS Department of Pupil Transportation are down due to a damaged cable that serves the area. Due to the nature of the outage, the repair is expected to take at least 24 hours. After a full year of extensive research, site visits, budgeting, needs assessments and presentations, I believe our team has selected a program that will best meet our students’ needs. Health Fair Wednesday
Don’t forget the annual ACPS Health and Immunization Fair from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 1, at Francis C. Hammond Middle School, 4646 Seminary Road, Alexandria. The event is open to any ACPS student in grades kindergarten through five without access to medical care who needs a physical exam, immunizations or a PPD (TB skin test) prior to school entry in September.
