Transportation Phone Lines Down
The phone lines for the ACPS Department of Pupil Transportation are down due to a damaged cable that serves the area. Due to the nature of the outage, the repair is expected to take at least 24 hours. Exemplary Program At Charles Barrett
Dear Charles Barrett Community,
It is with great pride and excitement that I write to you to announce that our exemplary program selection for Charles Barrett Elementary School has been approved by Dr. Sherman, Superintendent of Schools. After a full year of extensive research, site visits, budgeting, needs assessments and presentations, I believe our team has selected a program that will best meet our students’ needs. Health Fair Wednesday
Don’t forget the annual ACPS Health and Immunization Fair from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 1, at Francis C. Hammond Middle School, 4646 Seminary Road, Alexandria. The event is open to any ACPS student in grades kindergarten through five without access to medical care who needs a physical exam, immunizations or a PPD (TB skin test) prior to school entry in September.
