After participating in three pre-season tournaments, the T.C. High School golf team opened regular season play against W.T. Woodson last Thursday. The Titans lost, 138-142.
The highlight of the close match was junior Zach Veshancey’s hole-in-one. The match was close throughout, but in the end, Woodson prevailed by a mere four strokes.
Last Tuesday, the Titans participated in the Patriot District Preview. As expected, the Titans finished fourth with a score of 330. Lake Braddock was first at 299.
T.C.’s next match is today versus Annandale, followed by a match Wednesday at West Springfield.
