T.C. Williams golf went 2-0 this week, defeating Annandale and West Springfield in Patriot District match play.
On Monday, the Titans beat Annadale 164-169 in their second match of the season. The team was led by junior Zach Veshancey, with a low score of 38. Senior Eric Fries and junior Garrett Kennedy both shot 41, and sophomore Chris Darr carded a 44.
On Wednesday, T.C. defeated West Springfield 169-170. Kennedy’s 38 helped the Titans to defeat the Spartans, who finished third ahead of T.C. in the season-opening Patriot District Preview.
T.C. is now 2-1 on the season. The team’s next match is Tuesday, August 31st, at South County.
