Capital Beltway I-95/495 And Telegraph Road Corridor Ramp Closures Week Of Jan. 31

Motorists Urged to Choose Alternate Routes

As part of the Woodrow Wilson Bridge Project, weather permitting, ramps in the Telegraph Road interchange area of the Capital Beltway I-95/495 will be closed during the week of January 31 for paving and barrier work.

Motorists are encouraged to take alternate routes to avoid expected delays.  The scheduled work is as follows:

Monday, Feb. 1 through Friday, Feb. 5 between 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the next morning:

  • Ramp from the Inner Loop (I-95/495 South) to Telegraph Road South.
    • Detour: Take the ramp to U.S. Route 1 South to Huntington Avenue West to Telegraph Road South.
  • Ramp from the Inner Loop (I-95/495 South) to Pershing Avenue.
    • Detour: Take the ramp to U.S. Route 1 South to Huntington Avenue West to Pershing Avenue.
  • Ramp from the Inner Loop (I-95/495 South) to Telegraph Road North.
    • Detour: Take the ramp to U.S. Route 1 South to Huntington Avenue West to Telegraph Road North.

Note: all three ramps will be closed on an alternating schedule.

Monday, Feb. 1 through Thursday, Feb. 4 between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. and Friday, Feb. 5 from 9 a.m. to noon:

  • Ramp from Telegraph Road North to the Inner Loop (I-95/495 South).
    • Detour: Follow Huntington Avenue East to U.S. Route 1 North to the Inner Loop (I-95/495 South).
  • Ramp from Telegraph Road South to the Inner Loop (I-95/495 South).
    • Detour: Follow Huntington Avenue East to U.S. Route 1 North to the Inner Loop (I-95/495 South).

Please use caution when traveling in this area. All construction-related work and dates are subject to change, depending on weather, material and contractor availability or other unforeseen conditions.
