I was rather astounded to read Dave Cavanaugh’s claims that the Beauregard Planning Process, spearheaded by the Beauregard Corridor Stakeholders’ Group, was “contentious” and his accusations that the leaders of the BCSG “blur the truth” about the “recommendations” that were recently provided to City staff. In turn, allow me to offer a considerably different perspective.
Alexandria City Employee Pleads Guilty To Stealing Funds From The City Of Buffalo
This morning, City of Alexandria officials learned that the City’s Deputy Director of General Services, Timothy E. Wanamaker, pled guilty to a felony charge in Buffalo, New York federal court on Nov. 29. He admitted to using work-issued credit cards to pay for non-work related travel and expenses. Wanamaker served as Buffalo’s Director of the Office of Strategic Planning until 2008.
