Students Raise Thousands For Leukemia And Lymphoma Society

Douglas MacArthur Elementary Shining Stars shine with donations

Students, teachers, and families at Douglas MacArthur Elementary did an amazing job raising $4,100 in donations to help the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Pennies for Patients program. Each year the Pennies for Patients program brings together over 12 million students from across the country to help find a cure for leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families. The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society funds lifesaving blood cancer research around the world and provides free information and support services. Douglas MacArthur Shining Stars look forward to raising the bar during next year’s donation drive.
