We have all seen the seasons change. The leaves have fallen from darkened bare branches, the days grow shorter and already some snow scares have hit our forecasts. The artificial elements of the season are appearing as well: lights strung along the trees, various melodies of good cheer on the radio, and every supermarket having something else. We hear the small ringing bell, the scarlet kettle with its thin slit meant for coinage and the occasional dollar.
