UCM is excited and proud to announce that it has exceeded its goal of 3,000 walker registrations for the 2011 Fannie Mae Help the Homeless Walkathon program. From July 1 through November 4 this year, more than thirty schools, churches and other community organizations held Help the Homeless mini-walk events to benefit UCM.
The Salvation Army provides for about 150 families at Thanksgiving. Volunteers are needed to fill boxes and distribute to families. Dinner collection needed by November 11, delivery setup November 19, distribution November 20.
