Dept. of Community & Human Services, Sexual Assault Center - Hotline training begins Feb 6
421 King Street, Suite 400, Alexandria, VA 22314. http://alexandriava.gov/SexualViolence#getinvolved Alexandria’s Sexual Assault Center is looking for volunteers to be hotline companions on our 24/7 crisis hotline. Volunteers are trained to provide support and resources over the phone and accompany victims of sexual assault to the hospital and police station. Comprehensive 5-week training class begins on Monday, February 6, on Monday and Wednesday evenings and 2 Saturdays, refreshments provided.
