Needles Yes, Medicine No?

December 4th, 2012 | [From: Rants]

Ranter: Annabelle Fisher

Medicare's absurd reasoning for denying me the medication for my synvisc shots goes beyond any kind of logic. What Medicare did approve was the needle for the shot without the medication, i.e. Synvisc!

Ranter: Paul W.

I live off of Slater's Lane... I've noticed over the past few days that the area smells like backed up sewer.

Learned Irresponsibility

September 4th, 2012 | [From: Rants]

Ranter: J. Market, Alexandria, VA

Ranter: Annabelle Fisher

As we all know, Mayor Euille, members of Council and City administrative staff, especially Deputy City Manager Mark Jinks, continue to tell us that developers and current development projects waiting to move ahead will do well with public/private partnerships.

Enough Already Dr. Sherman

Rant: Anabella Fisher

One would think that Superintendent Sherman would have more things to do then to continue with his own PR.

WMATA Wasteful Spending To Clear Cut Trees Along Potomac Watershed

April 5th, 2012 | [From: Rants]

Ranter: Emily Olhoeft

This morning I watched as contractors for WMATA cut down tree after tree after tree along the property line adjacent to my apartment complex. The Metro Office of Systems Maintenance property at 195 Telegraph Rd. (actually Mill Rd), Alexandria, VA runs along a creek bed, where all the trees are being clear cut.
