LTA Captures The Holiday Spirit With A Christmas Carol

Few productions carry the nostalgic weight of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol, and few community theaters bear the traditional charm of The Little Theatre of Alexandria. Together the two create a spirited Christmas event that will warm the hearts of the most dedicated Scrooges among us this holiday season. The set and costumes are marvelously Victorian and excellent as always.

Joys Of The Season

The Torpedo Factory Art Center’s Art in Public Spaces program presents Joys of the Season, which opens on Nov. 29th,2012 and runs through Jan. 20th, 2013. The exhibition features artwork created by Associate Artists of the Torpedo Factory Artists Association - those who do not have permanent studios at the Art Center – and examines how these artists connect to the winter season. The five selected artists include Luray Schaffner, John Schaffner, Jennifer Brewer Stone, E.E. McCollum and Rosemary Luckett.
