According to Alexandria City Public School sources, Cora Kelly Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics School is being evacuated because a suspected gas leak. Staff and students are relocating to Mount Vernon Community School. They are walking from Cora Kelly to MVCS where they will be placed in the auditorium and gymnasium until the situation is resolved.
The Alexandria Fire Department is on the scene conducting an investigation.
