Friendly, reliable and patient volunteer receptionists are needed for weekly 4-hour shifts to greet clients, answer phones and provide light clerical support. Must be at least 21, seniors are welcome. No experience necessary - training includes full overview of phone system, our agency, community programs & services, and effective customer service strategies. Office hours 8am-4pm. Volunteers help set up, run, and strike this fun-filled afternoon event including orchestra concerts, arts & crafts activities, reading centers, yoga for kids, Planetarium showings, and even improv theater activities. Over 200 families are expected to attend between 2pm-4pm, volunteer hours are from 12:30-4:30. Great for groups!
