Virginia Commerce Bank is proud to announce the creation of The Virginia Commerce Bank Foundation. The donor advised fund is managed by the Arlington Community Foundation, where R.B. “Randy” Anderson, Jr., the Bank’s Executive Vice President and Chief Lending Officer, serves on the Board of Trustees as its Treasurer. Jim Whittaker, President of the Arlington Community Foundation, said “the Board is honored to assist Virginia Commerce Bank with its generous charitable giving efforts. As a successful and growing business that began in Arlington, we are so pleased that the Bank thoughtfully chose to establish their new Fund at the Arlington Community Foundation. We look forward to many years of supporting the Bank in achieving its philanthropic goals.”

In 2011, our employees volunteered nearly 6,000 hours with local organizations, and our monetary contributions have been equally generous throughout the years.
