UPDATE: Jihad Ramadan Case

Thanks to media coverage and tips from the public, U.S. Marshals have determined that the man previously displayed in a wedding photograph is not Jihad Ramadan. The fugitive remains at large as the investigation continues. A reward of up to $2,500 is being offered for information leading to Ramadan’s arrest.

FTA’s WMATA Safety Oversight Team Issues Monthly Inspection Reports

The Federal Transit Administration’s WMATA Safety Oversight Team posted its inspection reports of the WMATA Metrorail system covering the period from November 2015 through August 2016. FTA safety inspectors assess both the condition of critical infrastructure and how well WMATA follows its own procedures, rules and safety standards.
