The T. C. Williams High School track and field team competed in the Patriot Conference 7 Championship on May 16-17. The Titans’ boys and girls squads both finished as the 2017 Conference Runners Up behind Lake Braddock. Last year, the T. C. boys won the Patriot Conference team title.

The Titans had numerous top performers and other medalists who contributed to the team totals and advance to the regional championship. The T. C. champions and runners up follow.

Boys 4x100 meter Relay – Ibrahim Bangura (10), Kai Cole (11), Anthony Eaton (9), Kelvin Harris (11) 
Girls 4x100 meter Relay – Kendra Oguamena (10), Bhrandi Crenshaw (12), Mikayla Addison (11), Nyla Ward (10) – the T. C. girls set a new meet record of 48.61 seconds, crushing the previous record of 49.11 set in 1998

The Titans who have qualified compete next at the 6A North Region Championship at Robinson on May 25-26. The 6A State Championship is in Newport News on June 2-3.
