Police Investigate Stranger Abduction/Sexual Assault Of Young Girl

An investigation is underway after a five-year-old girl was abducted and sexually assaulted by a stranger in the 6700 block of Tower Drive in the Fairfax County section of Alexandria. It occurred around 5 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 13. Initially a family member noticed the child was missing, and she resurfaced a short time later reporting what had occurred.

Fairfax County police have released the composite sketch and description of the man they believe is responsible for the abduction and sexual assault of the young girl on Sunday evening.

The suspect is described as a light skinned, Hispanic male in his mid-20’s to early 30’s. He is approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall to 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs approximately 200 pounds. The suspect is described as being clean shaven with black hair.
