Alexandria’s first &pizza will open July 12. The D.C.-based craft pie purveyor is bringing its culinary innovation, community-driven retail design and unique employee culture to Potomac Yard.

Designed around the vibe of the surrounding Alexandria community, the shop will feature all-new digital menu boards and the brand’s signature black and white aesthetic throughout. The website describes &Pizza brand ethos: “&pizza® is an anti-establishment establishment built on the renown of its creative pies and craft beverages, localized shop design, and the strength, unity and vibe of its living-wage-paid, ampersand-tattooed Tribe.

“WORK HARD, LIVE FAST, ORDER QUICK. TAKE THE CULTURE — &PIZZA — TO GO.”

As to their pies: “We pay up to serve up. Local produce. Cleaner labels. No HFCS. No artificial flavors. That’s our word.”

So, try one of &pizza hits: Big Caesar; The OG; American Honey; Moonstruck; Maverick; Gnarlic; Farmer's Daughter; or build your own at the new Potomac Yard store beginning July 12.
