Ranter: Cassie Conway Mr. Newsham’s letters continue to confound. While I do not favor budget shortfalls why does Mr. Newsham not also speak to the School Board’s projected $4 million CIP deficit?

Ranter: Annabelle Fisher For the second time this year, Superintendent Morton Sherman, ACPS, has again not followed instructions from the Alexandria School Board.

Ranter: Charles Conway Scott Newsham (ACPS: The Choice is Yours) insults the intelligence of every neighbor. He said: "The Alexandria School Board needs to make the policy decision that children will attend the school in their attendance zone unless a compelling case can be made for the granting of an administrative transfer."

Ranter: Marie Freire What isn’t mentioned in the article is that two fire trucks, one police car and EMS vehicle was dispatched to the school where the entire population of the school clearly saw that the emergency personnel demonstrated no sense of urgency in entering the school.

Ranter: Annabelle Fisher It is now time for Superintendent Mort Sherman to open his own bank: The Mort Sherman Bank of Alexandria. First, he needs to put all of the money he has perhaps hidden from ACPS budgets into this account along with the proposed funding for his Foundation which he has and/or has not collected and/or not revealed in his documents.
