Please note that you may now pay personal property taxes in cash only at 50 Global Express Payment Centers throughout Northern Virginia, including all Shoppers Food and Pharmacy locations. On Thursday, September 16th, Congressman Jim Moran (D-VA) will host a special community town hall to discuss the Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) 133 situation at the Mark Center site in Alexandria. This fall, the Living History Foundation is offering free instruction in fencing as part of Gadsby’s Tavern Museum’s swordsmen’s activity. This two-session program is open to those ages 13 and older interested in learning and teaching fencing and who will commit to assist with at least one Swordsmen’s Rendezvous, a public participation event offered at the museum.
