The Alexandria Democratic Committee will hold the first of two primary debates among the Democratic candidates for Alexandria City Council on Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at 7:00 pm. The debate will take place at Francis C. Hammond Middle School Auditorium (4646 Seminary Road; Alexandria, VA) and will feature Bob Gibson, Executive Director of the Sorensen Institute for Political Leadership at the University of Virginia as the debate moderator. The event is free and open to the public.
