NWS Wind Chill Advisory Extended To Sunday Morning

UPDATE (Jan. 6): The National Weather Service has extended the Wind Chill Advisory for the Washington, DC metropolitan area to 6 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 7. Very cold wind chills are expected, ranging from five degrees above zero to 10 degrees below zero. The Alexandria Winter Shelter at 930 N. Henry Street will be open 24 hours/day for the entire weekend.
