Woodbridge Man Sentenced For Attempting To Travel To Syria To Join ISIL

Joseph Hassan Farrokh, 29, of Woodbridge, was sentenced today to 102 months in prison for attempting to provide material support and resources to a foreign terrorist organization, namely the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant. Farrokh was also sentenced to 10 years of supervised release.
