Kahron M. Lee, 20, a 2012 graduate of T. C. Williams High School and a sophomore at Virginia Union University, was shot and killed near the Virginia Union campus in Richmond late last night. Lee, a Computer Information Systems major at VUU, was a track standout at T. C.
VUU Police Chief Carlton G. Edwards issued the following statement: "The Virginia Union University family is shocked and saddened at the senseless murder of Virginia Union student Kahron M. Lee. The shooting took place last night on Graham Road, in the vicinity of the Virginia Union campus. Mr. Lee was a 20-year-old Computer Information Systems major. He was a well-liked person who was active in the campus community.
"We are working with Richmond Police to follow up on every lead and to ensure that the perpetrators of this heinous crime are brought to justice.
