Alexandra "Sandra" Summers, 97, died March 13, 2014, in Sherman Oaks, Ca. Born in Siatista, Greece, she emigrated to the U.S. in 1935, and settled in Alexandria, Va. She and her husband owned Tommy Summers Record Shop in Old Town for more than 20 years. She was a longtime member of St. Katherine Greek Orthodox Church in Falls Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas, and her daughter, Krystal Katsikas. She is survived by her sons Anthony Summers, Tommie Summers and George Summers; grandchildren Angela Dawson, Thomas Katsikas, Peter Katsikas, Adam Summers and Alethea Summers; and great-grandsons Dimitrios and Alexander Katsikas . Summers will be buried at National Memorial Park in Falls Church. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to St. Katherine Greek Orthodox Church in Falls Church.

She was a longtime Alexandria resident. Anyone who lived in Alexandria in the 1950s-1970s bought their records at her shop on King Street. She lived for 63 years in the Beverley Hills section of Alexandria.
