Area Student Part Of Annual Scholars Forum At Indiana University Of Pennsylvania

A local anthropology archaeology track student participated in the Undergraduate Scholars Forum at Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

Amanda Balough presented a poster on “Temporal Indicators in the Ceramic Assemblage from the Johnston Site.”

More than 150 students participated in the ninth annual Undergraduate Forum on April 1. The forum showcased original undergraduate research, artwork or performing arts compositions.

Students applied to be part of the forum and were judged by faculty and administrators on content and the quality of their presentations during the day-long event.

Balough, of Coventry Road, Alexandria, is a 2012 graduate of Payallup Pierce College. She is a provost scholar and a member of Lambda Alpha National Honors Society.
