West End Transitway Policy Advisory Group To Be Held Thursday, Oct. 23

The City of Alexandria’s West End Transitway Policy Advisory Group is holding its third public meeting on Thursday, Oct. 23, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., in the Chet and Sabra Avery Conference Room 2000, City Hall, 301 King Street. The West End Transitway Alternatives Analysis / Environmental Assessment (AA/EA) is an analysis of transportation, land use, and environmental conditions along the corridor. The AA/EA is a required step towards applying for Federal Transit Administration funding.

The meeting is open to the public, and will provide PAG members an update on the results of applying the evaluation measures to the three alternatives under study, stakeholder outreach, and feedback from the Oct. public meeting.
